Whoopie pie madness

Chocolate chip Whoopie Pie

For the cookies


2 servings of Devotion Nutrition Angel Food cake protein powder 


1/3 cup of water



1 tsp of baking powder 


1tsp vanilla extract 


1 egg


1/4 cup of unsweetened apple sauce 


66 Lilly's dark chocolate baking chips 


1/3 cup of water


Mix together and spoon into a 12 cavity whoopie pie pan that is sprayed with non stick spray. 

Cook 10 min in 350 degree oven


For filling


5 tbsp of cool whip 


2 tbsp Marshmallow Fluff


Mix together and reserve in freezer while the tops and bottoms finish cooking and are completely cooled.


Slap 1 tbsp of filling in between two cookies

Makes 6 assembled whoopie pies 1 Weight Watcher smart point each 

Chocolate Brownie Batter whoopie pie

For the cookies


2 servings of Chocolate Brownie Batter Devotion Nutrition protein powder 


1tsp vanilla extract 


1tsp baking powder


1 tbsp of espresso powder  ( intensifies chocolate flavor) 


1 egg


1/4 unsweetened apple sauce 


1/3 cup of water


Mix together and spoon into a 12 cavity whoopie pie pan that is sprayed with non stick spray 

Cook at 350 for 10 min


For filling


5 tbsp of cool whip free 


2 tbs of Marshmallow fluff 


Mix together and reserve in freezer while the tops and bottoms finish cooking and are completely cooled 


1 tbsp of filling in between a top and bottom 

Makes 6 assembled whoopie pies 

1 Weight Watcher smart point each

Filling tips

I realize that whoopie pies are a regional thing here in New England  and the Northeast . Marshmallow Fluff is as well. 

Here are a few other filling options with a cool whip free base.


5 tbsp of cool whip free mixed with 

 

- 2 tbsp of fat free cream cheese


- 2 tbsp of sugar free vanilla frosting


The following would be mixed with 8 tbsp of cool whip free


- 2 tbsp of Choc PB2


1 tbsp of sugar free Jello instant pudding mix  cheesecake flavor

Or any flavor that you dig




Whoopie Pie Magic

Pumpkin Whoopie Pie

2 servings  of Devotion Nutrition Angel food cake protein powder 

1 packet of Devotion Nutrition pumpkin pie flex flavor or (pumpkin pie spice seasoning) 

1 tsp of baking powder 

1 tsp of ground cinnamon 

1/2 cup of unsweetened canned pumpkin puree 

1 egg

1/3 cup of water

Mix together and spoon into a 12 cavity  reg size whoopie pie pan or muffin top pan (spray non stick!)

Bake 350 10-12 min

Filling - 5 Tbsp of Cool whip free mixed with 2 Tbsp of Marshmallow Fluff. 

This recipe makes 6 whoopie pies when assembled. 1 WW point each

67 cal, 6 carbs, 1 fat, 8 protein

1/2 tbsp of baking powder
1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/2 cup of water
Combine and spoon into a muffin top/ whoopie pie pan 12 cavity  (spray with non stick)
Cook at 350 for 10 min
 

Sweet or savory

These are great on their own or as two halves of a sandwich 

Bacon and eggs or short cake

Slap some eggs or whipped topping in the middle and you will win the day with a great treat
